I'm still here!

I have totally abandoned this blog the past few weeks!  BUSY is my only excuse!  I update FB a lot more than I update this blog.  You do not have to be a member of fb to view my business page and all the photo albums.  Here is the link:

On this site, I have all of my outfits arranged in albums, so viewing is a lot easier.  I also have a price list under the notes tab.  I do post sales often, and they are always posted on the fb page.

The next few weeks are going to be SUPER busy!  I am working on a lot of orders, posting sales, and will be going on 2 beach trips in June!  I typically have no problem taking last minute orders, but I am trying to give everyone a heads up for the month of June!  If you need an order, Birthday gift, or baby shower gift in the next few weeks, please let me know as soon as you can!  I will accomodate as many orders as I can!
I took time to make a few happy's for the girls and I for one of our beach trips in June.  The other is for my little man that will be joining us on the first beach trip in June!

I am currently working on a lot of new Summer designs.  I will have these posted in the next 2 weeks.  I will be starting Fall designs pretty early this year.  I am due with my 2nd child in mid September, so I want to get as many Fall outfits out before then as possible.  I shouldn't be "down" for too long after the baby gets here, but I will probably be taking it pretty slow for at least a week or two.  The Fall is a tremendously busy time for me, so I am trying to plan ahead!

Recent orders and a MUST READ POST!

I needed a new buggy cover for my 2 year old...yes, I still cover the buggy for my 2 year old. Do you know how may sick, snotty nose, coughing kids and adults I see every time I'm out in public pushing those same buggies we put kids in?!

A plus of being a stay at home/working Mom has been that my 2 1/2 year old has only been really sick twice in his life.

He was quick to pick out this choo choo fabric for his cover. It is a soft flannel and the underside is fleece. They cover the entire area that the child sits in, so there is no way for them to touch the buggy. I am working on how to approach different fabric options, as I do not keep flannel or fleece in stock. However, I can do these in any color combo and will be happy to work with you on your design.

Oh bunny and chick! I finally completed ALL 53 bunny and chick t's today and they are all in the mail minus 2 ppl that have other items with their order and I will be mailing those early next week. Out of 53 boys and girls tops, all 53 were different names or the same name spelled differently! I used regular t's for these tops because I offered them during a Frugal Friday deal. Typically I only use fitted t's for girls, but I think they turned out precious.

In other news, my Husband and I were able to announce the pregnancy of baby #2 earlier this week. I am almost 11 weeks along and due mid Sept. I got a tad behind on work this week because between me, baby, and my 2 year old, we had 2 full days of Doctors appointments. I have been working like a crazy person the past 2 days and was able to get several packages mailed thanks to my Husband and Mom watching the little guy!
January and February have been so awesome order wise. I LOVE all the new orders I have gotten from new customers. Thank you so much for the business!
Easter is a very busy time for me, so please remember that it is early this year and only a tiny bit over a month away (April 8)! I am still taking Easter orders and I am working on new boys and girls samples for the Spring/Summer.
I do want to encourage you to order NOW if you are wanting an Easter outfit. #1 I want to be able to get the outfit/t to you in time to wear a few times before Easter and #2 I am going to have to make myself take at least a week off at the end of March.
I am trying my best not to interfere with Easter/Spring/Summer orders, so I am going to try to time my time off accordingly. Here is the reason why...
I get a headache just thinking about all this btw LOL!!!
We love our house, but 3 people, a dog, and a business have totally outgrown our 3 bedroom/2 bath garden home. With baby #2 on the way, we have got to put our home on the market and attempt to sell and move into a new one before the baby gets here. With this being said, my house needs an overhaul. Closets need reorganizing, toys need to be gone through, and the biggest job, we are repainting the entire inside...still to be determined if we are hiring this done or if my Husband and others will be doing this job.
For this reason, I am going to have to take and complete orders the next few weeks knowing that I will have to stop production for a week and get my house in order before resuming. Putting our house up for sale is going to be a huge task. I am so busy with work, life, and a 2 year old that our house is not a model home 7 days a week...I'm sure you all understand! It is definitely going to be an adjustment making sure the house, especially my office is spotless all the time in hopes that the future owner will just want to swing in for a look at any moment!
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I RARELY take more than a few days off from the business, because I HATE becoming the slightest bit backed up. With this being said, it should not effect anything. I am simply sharing to full warn Easter ppl ordering that I would very much appreciate your ordering early. I will be glad to take Spring/Summer orders as well and the closer we get to my "time off", we will discuss turn around time.
I plan to be locked in my office again tomorrow and Sunday. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
